About The Modern Rogues

The Modern Rogues are a UK based Country-Rock band, operating out of Swansea, South Wales.Originally formed by old friends Josh (Vocals, Guitar) and John (Drums, Vocals) who reconvened after many years away from the music scene, before releasing a number of home demos and acoustic tracks. While the band began in early 2020, it truly started with the formation of Josh, John, Rhys and Sam in mid 2023, who graced the stage of Station 18 Festival for the first time as the finalised four-piece.They independently released their first studio single, 'Having A Good Time', produced and recorded by James Weaver on June 28th 2024 alongside a music video documenting their time in the studio, while being active in the local music scene.The band hopes to continue writing heartfelt, grassroots country music while having fun performing and making people move in the process.
